Litex is a full-range supplier of membrane systems for bathrooms and wet rooms. We manufacture Litex Lubricant-Free Membrane panels at our factory in Sandefjord, Norway. About Litex
Since its establishment in 2000, Litex has been the market leader in membrane systems for wet rooms. Today, Litex is a full-range supplier of membrane systems for bathrooms, as well as wet room panels. In recent years, we have launched several different membrane systems, and we now offer safe, quick and cost-effective solutions for all substrates and construction methods.
We have production facilities, training premises and administrative offices in Sandefjord (find us here), as well as a nationwide sales network.
Product development and testing have always been a priority for Litex, and we are now selling the fifth generation of Litex lubricant-free membrane sheets.
All our products and systems meet current technical requirements and are documented in accordance with ETAG 022 and Norwegian standards. Furthermore, all Litex products have either technical approval from Sintef or an ETA (European Technical Assessment). Our products also comply with the requirements of TEK-17.
Our products are distributed through tiling and plumbing chains, as well as leading building materials chains.
In 2015, Litex became part of Protan AS, a Norwegian industrial group that is a world leader in membrane technology. Protan has approximately 1,000 employees in 15 countries and a total turnover of approximately NOK 2.5 billion.

To meet the expectations of our customers, the industry and our employees, we work systematically on quality and continuous improvement. As evidence of our efforts, Litex is ISO-certified to the international standard for quality management, ISO 9001:2008.
This certification means that our management system, including our processes and working methods, has been approved in accordance with the ISO standard. To ensure we meet the expectations and requirements set by the outside world, our management system undergoes continuous improvement. It is also monitored through regular internal and external audits, all to ensure the quality of our services.
